Q + A

What is the deadline to RSVP?

Please RSVP no later than March 28th.

Are children allowed?

While we both love kids, we have decided that this is an adult-only event. Please reach out to us if you have questions about child care options :)

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The wedding and reception will both be outdoors. Late spring in Chico is usually lovely weather, but we recommend bringing layers as it tends to cool off once the sun sets. We will have heaters and blankets to help keep you warm, as well. Also, be mindful that there will be grass, gravel, and slightly uneven terrain.

What weather should I expect?

Late spring in Chico is usually lovely during the day (around 75 degrees) and cools off at night (55-60 degrees). While we will have heaters and blankets, we encourage guests to bring layers.

Is there parking available?

Yes! However, it is somewhat limited. Our next door neighbors (two houses down) have graciously allowed us to use their open field for parking. We will have a parking attendant and two golf carts to help shuttle guests between their cars and our venue throughout the evening, or you can enjoy the short walk over!

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Yes! We have a hotel block at both Courtyard Chico and Residence Inn. The code is "Fowler and Cox Wedding." Both hotels are about a 10 minute drive from our venue, and there will be a shuttle service offered from these locations.

Is there a shuttle?

Yes! We will offer a shuttle service to our venue from the Courtyard Chico and Residence Inn hotels, as well as from the downtown E 2nd St. and Wall St. parking lot (estimated times are 4:15 and 4:30 pm). Shuttles will also take guests back to these locations from our venue throughout the night (estimated times are 8:30, 9:15, 10:00, 11:15 pm).

How do the food trucks work?

We are so excited to have some of Butte County's yummiest food trucks serving up delicious meals at our wedding! You will have your choice of either eating at the taco truck or the BBQ truck. Each truck is offering a modified menu which will be available to view at your seat. Once you know what you want, just walk up to the window, give them your order, and the food will be ready shortly!

If I already shared my food truck preference when I RSVP’d, am I allowed to change my mind at the wedding?

Yes! We asked for your food preference to help us get an idea of how many guests our trucks should prepare to serve. If you decide when you arrive that you'd like to try something else, that's totally okay.
